The hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. I had a tasty dinner and breakfast, and the staff were very attentive and courteous. I was very impressed.

This was the most charming place we stayed during our trip to Ireland. It was a beautiful location, the food was great, and our room was very comfortable even with four of us!

We had a lovely one night stay in a classic double room. Food was amazing, dinner and breakfast, the best we have had in a while. The staff are a credit to this house hotel, lovely, friendly and helpful. Spotless room, and hotel throughout plus comfortable bed. Only thing I could fault is the TV, they need to be upgraded to smart TVs, but there was a range of channels.

We sadly only had one night here as it is such a lovely spot. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and the dinner and breakfast were wonderful

The Avalon is a building I've driven by since I was a child most of the time it was uninhabited. You've done an amazing job on your renovation and created a little gem. Really enjoyed our stay and we'll be back.

Our stay at the Avalon House Hotel was the best of all of our 2 weeks of touring Ireland. The hotel is elegant yet has such a charming and relaxing Irish countryside country vibe. Our room was large and well appointed with lovely linens and modern bathroom. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and very generous. We loved the location in Castlecomer- very near all sights but quiet and easy for parking our car. We shall return!

The room was great and we enjoyed air conditioning as we prefer cool sleeping. Breakfast was very tasty and dinners at bar restaurant were good. We loved the nightly specials. Staff were helpful and friendly. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Very confortable room, good premises and delicious food at the restaurant. We had dinner and breakfast and everything was perfect. It was my partner birthday and I asked them to leave some treat in the room, which they did with a lovely "happy birthday" brownie plate. Definetely staying again when going to Kilkenny.

Absolutely brilliant stay. We popped back home to visit our family and staying at The Avalon topped our stay could not have asked for better. Staff are fantastic every single one of them. Our room was brilliant and above expectations and the food was superb. We will be back and would recommend a stay here.

We had a lovely stay in Avalon house hotel. The family room was really perfect for us. We loved the decor of the hotel and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Thank you for a lovely night away- my family had a great time

Absolutely excellent. Emily did all she could to accommodate our wishes. The room was extremely comfortable and furnished to a top-notch standard. Even the 'little things' were top quality. The staff were warm, welcoming, professional and always stopped to answer a question despite being very busy. Nothing was overlooked - it's a real gem of a find.
