Beautiful hotel. Lovely food and lovely staff.

From the moment we arrived the staff were polite, well presented and cheerful. We checked in quite late in the evening and the lady at reception arranged for the kitchen to be informed that we would like to dine as it was getting close to final orders. The room was clean with a large comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and kept us fueled for our day of sightseeing. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were glad to have chosen an independent establishment to brighten a bleak January weekend away. We would highly recommend this hotel and the relaxed professional service of all the members of staff we encountered during our stay. We hope to return in the future.

Fabulous hotel! The recent refurbishment has transformed out. The room was clean and very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Would (and almost certainly will) stay here again.

Lovely comfortable room. The food including presentation in the restaurant was wonderful. The staff are outstanding. We were celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary and received a lovely box of chocolates and a congratulatory letter signed by the team. Wonderful memories. Thank you.

beautiful hotel, enjoyed my 2 night stay here, beds are soo comfortable and breakfast was delicious. what a hidden gem.

Even from the minute we arrived staff were very helpful and polite. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. We had booked breakfast and my partner has a food allergy which was catered for and breakfast was lovely

We greatly enjoyed our stay of four days. The staff were lovely and we would definitely recommend you. We made small suggestions for improvement on checkout, but you already had them in hand.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean throughout. Rooms have everything you need and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice and management and staff so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Location is perfect, would definitely stay again.
